Skills & Expertise
Project Synopsis: Challenge/Opportunity
Groov is revolutionizing footwear personalization with its proprietary Footwear Personalization System, combining mobile 3D scanning, AI-enabled optimization, and custom-fit solutions to enhance comfort and performance across all footwear types. As Groov scales, the company seeks to refine its wholesale and retail partnership strategies, optimize sales pipeline development, and enhance marketing materials to drive early traction and long-term market penetration.
This project will focus on strategic research, marketing asset optimization, and testing/refinement of sales approaches rather than direct outreach. Students will develop insights and strategies to support key account engagement, emphasizing warm connections for high-value retail partners while allowing direct outreach for mid- and lower-tier prospects. The initiative will prioritize real-time learning and iteration, ensuring actionable outcomes that can be implemented immediately.
Project Synopsis: Activities/Actions Required
  1. Research & Strategy Development
    • Conduct a market analysis to identify high-priority retail and wholesale partners.
    • Develop a tiered partnership strategy that differentiates strategic accounts (A-level) from B- and C-level targets, ensuring appropriate engagement approaches.
    • Identify potential warm connections and referral pathways for high-value prospects.
  2. Marketing Material Optimization
    • Review existing marketing assets for alignment with key B2B sales objectives.
    • Develop updated pitch decks, messaging frameworks, and collateral tailored to different retail/wholesale segments.
    • Ensure materials reflect Groov’s unique value proposition and differentiation in the footwear industry.
  3. Sales Pipeline Development & Testing
    • Define structured sales pipeline frameworks that align with different account tiers.
    • Outline clear steps for lead nurturing and engagement, ensuring seamless handoff to Groov’s wholesale team.
    • Pilot sales messaging and engagement strategies with internal team members (not external outreach).
    • Provide recommendations for CRM implementation and automation to enhance efficiency.
  4. Testing & Real-Time Learning
    • Conduct ongoing refinement of strategies and materials throughout the project rather than a final outreach push.
    • Gather feedback from internal team members (Brigid F) on sales messaging, positioning, and approach.
    • Analyze early-stage engagement metrics and refine based on insights.
