Project Title Optimize Digital Marketing Campaigns for Zen Om Studio
Project Topics Digital Marketing Growth Strategy Market Research Marketing Operations PR & Communications
Skills & Expertise Marketing PR social media
Project Synopsis: Challenge/Opportunity
Zen Om Studio is a well-regarded wellness center that excels in providing high-quality services and a strong community presence. However, despite their expertise in wellness, they face significant challenges in their digital marketing strategies. Currently, their online presence does not effectively translate into customer engagement or conversion, leading to missed opportunities for growth in an increasingly digital marketplace. This gap in their marketing approach means they are not reaching their full potential in attracting new clients or retaining existing ones, impacting their overall business performance.
Project Synopsis: Activities/Actions Required
The project will involve several key activities and methodologies tailored to student capabilities. Initial activities will include conducting a SWOT analysis to assess Zen Om Studio’s current marketing strategies, followed by quantitative and qualitative research methods such as surveys, interviews, and competitor analysis. Students will utilize digital marketing analytics tools, such as Google Analytics and social media insights, to gather data on user engagement and website performance. The analysis phase will focus on interpreting this data to identify trends, strengths, weaknesses, and opportunities for improvement. Finally, students will create a comprehensive digital marketing strategy report, including recommendations for optimizing online engagement and increasing conversion rates. We also need students to handle the social media accounts and increase followers.
Project Synopsis: Expected Results
  • The expected outcomes of this project include a detailed report that provides Zen Om Studio with actionable marketing strategies tailored to their specific challenges.
  • Students will learn to apply digital marketing principles, utilize analytics tools, and develop strategic thinking skills.
  • Business value will be realized through improved marketing performance, increased brand awareness, and enhanced customer engagement for Zen Om Studio.
  • Furthermore, students will leave with practical experience and insights that will bolster their resumes and prepare them for future careers in marketing.

Fall 2025 Midterm Presentation
Required Deliverable
The Midterm Presentation is a key milestone in your Capstone experience. It gives your team the opportunity to showcase your progress, clarify your project goals, and gather valuable feedback from your faculty advisor and School of Business staff.

This is your chance to demonstrate your understanding of the challenge, the approach you’re taking, and any early insights you've uncovered. Clear communication and thoughtful analysis at this stage will help ensure a strong finish to your project in the second half of the semester.

Treat it as both a checkpoint and a strategic opportunity to refine your work moving forward!

Christina Alwell will coordinate with team leads in early October to schedule the midterm presentations. These will take place in mid-October and early November.
