NJHA strives to encourage, nurture, and inspire the highest levels of professionalism and accountability amongst members, collectively representing the diverse tapestry of New Jersey's hospitality landscape. *Note: This organization was formerly known as the Hoboken Hospitality Alliance (HOHA).* |
| Project Synopsis: Activities/Actions Required | NJHA would like to provide graduate students working on this project with a real-world understanding of the local challenges faced by restaurant operators and businesses supporting the hospitality industry. Project aspects that the NJHA would like the team to assist with this semester include networking, workshops and seminars, project adjustments, and a feedback mechanism: Networking: NJHA will make connections with the local community and within their organizations.

There are four NJHA Spotlight events scheduled for the Fall 2024 semester at Stevens: 09/19, 10/24, 11/14 & 12/05. The students would assist with event promotion, preparing questions for the professionals, attending the events, etc.
Mentorship: Pairing students with experienced professionals in the hospitality industry.
Feedback Mechanism: Establishing a system to gather feedback from students and participating businesses to continuously improve the program. Students may also assist with website updates and recommendations.

Community Impact: Positive feedback from local restaurant operators and businesses regarding the support provided by students.
Networking Growth: Increased connections and strengthened relationships within the local hospitality community.
