| Project Synopsis: Challenge/Opportunity | This Industry Capstone Program project is with the New Jersey Hospitality Alliance (NJHA) and the corporate partners are Leigh Wilson and Preston Junger. The faculty advisor is Professor Brian Mueller.
The NJHA aims to bridge meaningful connections, innovative services, and the vibrant pulse of the state's hospitality industry. NJHA strives to encourage, nurture, and inspire the highest levels of professionalism and accountability amongst members, collectively representing the diverse tapestry of New Jersey's hospitality landscape. *Note: This organization was formerly known as the Hoboken Hospitality Alliance (HOHA).* |
| Project Synopsis: Activities/Actions Required | NJHA would like to provide graduate students working on this project with a real-world understanding of the local challenges faced by restaurant operators and businesses supporting the hospitality industry. Project aspects that the NJHA would like the team to assist with this semester include networking, workshops and seminars, project adjustments, and a feedback mechanism: Networking: NJHA will make connections with the local community and within their organizations.
Workshops and Seminars: Organizing educational sessions to discuss industry challenges and best practices.
Mentorship: Pairing students with experienced professionals in the hospitality industry.
Feedback Mechanism: Establishing a system to gather feedback from students and participating businesses to continuously improve the program. Students may also assist with website updates and recommendations.
